Hello everybody, With the addition of our newest member Jon I wanted to give everyone a chance to say hi and a little bit about you and/or the hobby. I'll start: My name is Roy, I"m from Portland Oregon, and I"ve been in the Hobby for about 14 months. I started out w/ a 5.5g nano(everyone said I was crazy for starting that small, but I proved them wrong..... I think)and now have made it all the way up to a 21g. Zoas are originally drew me into the hobby, they're just so colorful and often times overlooked. I admit it... I"m an addict. That's Okay This is one of the most dangerous statements that woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake. Thanks This is the least used of all words in the female vocabulary. If a woman is thanking you. Do not question it, just say you're welcome and back out of the room slowly.

If you're going to have a sump for your nano, I"d go with the Tunze nano skimmer, but for a good HOB, I"d use the remora

I was actually talking about one or the other.

I recently inherited a 21g ViaAqua tank from Keith, and am debating on which direction to go w/ lighting. I'e got a 250w Halide setup that I can make a canopy/pendant for, and I'm getting a 4x24 T5 setup very soon. I will be keeping mostly softies, but am going to try my hand at a couple Monti Digi frags as well.

Do a search on Nano-reef.com... they're not had great reviews, but if you can get them in a place where your water level doesn't change... then they supposedly work alright. I know Travis was running one in his 11g tank on the counter for awhile.... you might want to PM UPscales and ask what he thought of it.
