  6. We love Firefox. Been using it for awhile now. Love the tabs!!!
  7. Our coco worm "lost it's heads" the week after we brought it home but we left it alone (having heard that they re-grow) and it has two beautiful heads once again!! Needless to say we were very relieved.(clap)
  8. Hey you've got a PM about those t-shirts! BTW, what if at the end of each year we could vote for one of the POTM winners picture to be printed on the back of the following year's t-shirt? Just a thought.
  9. I think some rats might be kind of intelligent but they are creepy. I don't care how tame they are.
  10. Thank you for hosting the meeting and for the chair! Your topic was very informative and helpful to us.
  11. We use Thunderbird when not using the Yahoo address. I like it because it's similar to Outlook. Pretty easy to use and set up.
  12. It helped us too. Pics open with no problem. Thank you!!
  13. I use Firefox and mine uses download dialogue and the viewer too. I've half heartedly looked for a way to change that but have yet to find anything.
  14. Just be sure to take before and after pictures for the rest of us to see...(devil) You know so maybe we can learn from your um, bravery??? (popcorn)
  15. Our new cap, bought it with our new tank about 12" across, it's in the stock tank for now till we have it's new home all set up.
  16. How big do they have to get b4 they start showing the lyre tail? I just picked up a large naso (10 inches) and it doesn't have much of one yet... Do the females get them? Maybe I got a female? It looks just like every other naso I've seen before. (Only bigger!)
  17. I don't know what you've heard but my little fridmani behaves quite well. (At least when we're looking.)
  18. I don't know that I would agree with you... I can understand what you're trying to say but there seem to be equally as many unproductive people who come from parents who would fit your requirements. I have a few friends who came from what you might consider unfit homes/parent(s) and they are very productive members of society. I don't know that it would be fair to anyone to group people like that. Just my opinion.
  19. No, we got the one off the Portland Craigslist. 250 gallon fish tank and extras for 950!!! http://portland.craigslist.org/for/159109458.html It ate up our tax return but I think we're ok.......
  20. Thank you all for the suggestions. We're already planning for this to be an all day thing (tearing down and moving) and the set up is going to be insane too. The whole sandbed thing is pretty daunting, I believe it's about 4in +/- just in a 250 gallon tank and the same in the fuge. I like Joel's idea but wow that would be a lot of sand to replace.... The fuge is going to stay like it is, we're just going to lower the water level to 2-3 inches above the sand so the mangroves still have a little water. I would love to do this with the tank itself but I don't have a forklift at home or in Eugene although imagine all the fun I could have with that...... () The tank would be completely too heavy to move with the sand in it anyway, and it's going to have to come in on it's side. I'm getting tired just thinking about all the work ahead but excited for what's to come once it's actually set up!!
  21. Ok, so we went and got ourselves a screaming deal on a bigger tank, however we're a little concerned with the DSB it has.... we'd like to keep it but I've read several posts on RC where people have lost all their livestock because of mixing/stirring up the DSB. The livestock that is coming with the tank has will be in tubs/bags for the move but we're not sure of the best way to move the sand. The tank is coming from Eugene to Salem and we'd keep the sand bed in it if we could but the tank isn't going to fit thru the doors any other way but sideways unless we decide to take out the sliding glass door............(I'm not really prepared to let him do that.) Any ideas, suggestions or tried and true methods would be greatly appreciated. (also any sources for large fish bags would be nice too. we're going to have a LOT of little things to move) I think we've lost our minds.... we spent all night last night thinking "How the HECK are we going to move all that stuff?" Oh, and if you know the cheapest truck rental place in Eugene that would be awesome to know too!! (it won't fit in our car)
