Yeah Ive seen that thread. Beautiful. Well I have a 6 bulb T5 setup I love!!! Just add two more. What is your new tank size Rich? See my tank is onle like 20" deep and Im having great results with t5's. Love the color too. So you think at 24"-30" it would still be okay? My worries are about penetrating that deep. For 20" and under i would buy anything else but T5's. Hmmm...might as well use what i got. Later Ryan

I dont mean to bust up this thread but I would like to know what everyone thinks the max coverage is for 1 400W MH bulb? I know the rule of thumb is a 2' x 2' area. But with these new lumenarc reflectors could you go 30" x 30" or 3'x3'? Maybe with some T5's help out on the edges? Just a thought. Later Ryan

My friends dad owns Oberson Oil in Corvallis. He is starting to sell Bio-Deisel there right now. Its definately a step in the right direction. I also just help setup a small 150 G setup over at a friends house. He figured he could make it for about 75 cents a gallon. Hes gonna convert his 99 F350 here pretty soon so ill keep yall updated. I think there is a big price hike between a 24" and 30" tall tank. If you are not to set on 30" then go with the 24". Remember about maintainence. Later Ryan

I would like to suggest a relocation of the Show Off /POTM Forum. Could we move it to its own forum in the main forum area. In the MAIN CATEGORY section. I just think it is hidden in the General discussion forum. The only reason I voted for POTM was because I got an email. I dont know about others but I tend to forget about the Show Off/ POTM forum in the General Discussion area. We could even sticky the POTM at the top of the forum section in the Show off area if it is moved. Just a thought. Later Ryan

Arent you supposed to get more of a spread of a MH bulb with those? Are there any reflectors that will span 1 MH bulb a 3'x3' area? Or are those just for a 2'x2' area? Later Ryan
