jason7504
when you guys need to trim your macros, chaeto or calupera, let me know and i can take them so you dont have to throw them away.
CA2OR
You may be biting off more than you can chew there. I will keep that in mind when I do trim, but I don't have a lot like some others. You may find that there is more available to you than you know what to do with.

CA2OR
ok now I have to ask. What are you doing with it? Feeding something?
snowpunk
yea, their are a few people here that will give you enough to displace all the water out of your tank. I got my huge chunk from Dsoz and it had to be stuffed into the sump area to fit.
CA2OR
LOL you too Snowpunk. How funny. I asked Dsoz for a fist full and he filled my chamber. Very generous guy Dennis is. There you go Jason, you could hit up Dsoz.

spectra
I always throw calurpa away when I clean up the mantis tank. It is not alot but if you want it is yours. Tank is only 3 gallons but as of now it is almost across the whole tankDOH! To many things going on.
jason7504
ok sweet! i'll take it..what kind of calurpa?
dsoz
i have gotten some from dsoz I believe that what you got was from undrtkr_00. Mine was on a recession at the time. I think I have enough nutrient buildup in my new tank to get the chaeto growing again. dsoz
spectra
ok sweet! i'll take it..what kind of calurpa? If asking me who knows. Jordy at Waves gave it to me and I also have some sweet looking red algea in there that grows bubbles on a red vine will throw some of that in there to. Will be a few weeks but hell you are just up the street. PM me your number and will call you a day ahead of time.
MadReefer
You should always leave room for the algae to grow or it is doing no good.

I have it listed in the the Want to Buy / Trade section... all cleaned up & ready to go! T5 lighting seems like the way to go if you like coralline algae everywhere! Barelycuda
Dennis, The red gracilaria died. I wasn't to worried about it yet. I just got my new sump online yesterday and I have to say that I really like it. So I may hit you up in the near future for another start if you have some. Jason, I have the following macro's in the sump that I could probably pull some starters from. I have some grape caulerpa, caulerpa mexicana (fern looking), Caulerpa Prolifera (balde type), and one other type of caulerpa i believe. Let me know if you still want some. dsoz
Dave, I don't have much in the way of the red algae any more. It was not growing much when I gave you that piece. The rest just broke up and ended up in my filter sock. :( If you get some I would love to try another piece. dsoz
jason7504
wondering of anybody has any chaeto or other macro they need to get rid of?
wobble
One thread you are asking for macro.......another you are asking how to get rid of it. I think I found your problem! (laugh) Sorry......it struck me as funny.
