markdadof2
Picked this guy up for cheap about a month ago. His new growth is a flourscent green and has brown polyps. I have no idea what his name is, but he is kinda cool.
downhill_biker
maybe a chilli pepper??? give it some time to see if it changes colors, but definitely a nice piece.
markdadof2
I thought it may be a chili pepper at first, but once I picked this one up from Matt I don't think it is is a chili pepper.

markdadof2
I'm real happy with this coral Matt. It has already grown onto the frag plug and has about 6 new polyps on the plug. It is certainly growing faster than some of my other Montis. The orange tipped clove polyps I picked up from Roy are growing very fast - started out with 3 polyps and up to about 8 now - with 4 stolons coming off of it. I can't wait to have enough of these to frag out to people!

markdadof2
Wow, someone left me a rep comment 'Flourscent means green not white'. My camera is not the best but trust me, it is a green when seen in person. Whomever this was you are welcome to come see it!
AquaticEngineer
M. Confusa? Nice piece! I think thats right on. I got 3 frags of the confusa from Frank awhile back and they are doing awesome, they have the same green base with brown polyps and purple growth rim. Not my colony but this is what it looks like:

albertareef
Very cool Mark. I love how the polyps are recessed more than on the caps. I hope it gets that nice purple edge to it.

Apparently my first comment was "stupid" and "i should do more research before i hand out uneducated comments" Someone loves this coral and is ready to stick up for it at all costs. It looks amazing. I love the purple growth rim. I may have to pick up a piece from frank.
markdadof2
THis coral is coming alive in the new tank - I decided to move some corals over due to my nano being so unstable in the heat....I think it was the right decision. WHomever the person is that keeps leaving negative comments - come out of hiding...come see it for yourself. This is a great coral. I will have to get some recent pictures as the growth has been great. HA HA HA...you coral hater...it is GREEN....GREEN I TELL YOU!
theJenchild
Wow! Super sad day when someone has to resort to bashing your corals anonymously online in order to feel special. Its a beautiful piece though! I really like it.
