Michael7979
there use to be a website called 'hirocks.com' and they sold base rock rubble. They must be out of bussiness now as the website doesn't work. So the question is........ Where can you pay 'rubble rock'? Internet or other. Last time I was at Waves, Joel had a bunch of dry rock just laying around. I don't know the price. dsoz

JManrow
When I started my reef in 1987 I use dry coral rock that I bought from a construction company in Florida. It was very inexpensive (13 cents a pound at the time), but very dense and heavy. I used 2 lbs. per gallon... around 35 or 40 lbs. for my 20 gallon. Anyway... construction supply, rock quarries/landscape suppliers might be another source for coral rock, tufa rock, and "Texas Holey Rock". The Texas rock is also known as "honeycomb limestone" is some beautiful stuff... full of holes. I heard it is plentiful in the areas of Honey Creek and Austin, Texas. http://shop.ebay.com/items/_W0QQ_nkwZTexasQ20HoleyQ20RockQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZ http://www.holeyrockoftexas.com/
