JManrow Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 Robert (Bob) Fenner has worked in all phases of the hobby including: collector, wholesale, jobber, retail, design, construction and maintenance. Bob has been an avid aquatic hobbyist since day one and is active in hobbyist and scientific organizations. He has served on numerous Boards, judged shows and given many programs. His academic experience includes eleven years of college, a couple of life science degrees and a teaching credential for chemistry, physics and biology. His published works include several studies on aquatic biological and chemical questions, and an extensive publishing and photographic background in the industry and hobby of aquatics. He has taught High School sciences and Marine Sciences and Aquariology courses at the State University, University of California levels. Bob will be discussing Beginning Reefkeeping as Part 1 of the lecture. There are many new hobbyists that could use some guidance from Bob. Also this is a good “Back to Basics” seminar for some the more seasoned reefkeepers out there. Part 2 of the lecture will be on Tank Inhabitant Compatibility. This will encompass many of the organisms in the reef tank environment, but will specifically be centered around corals, fish and inverts. Dinner is included in the price of admission. JJ North’s is an “All you can eat” buffet located in NE Portland. We have reserved the banquet room with private seating and a speaking area. All of the children’s meals (12 and under) will be covered by the PNWMAS. Please join us for a fun filled evening for the whole family.
