Zach0225
https://www.continuumaquatics.com/marine_wc/halcyon_salt.php not sure im allowed to put external links if not im sorry. But anyone using this salt? I’m getting ready to mix my first batch and will update after I do how it goes but the little bit of information I can find on it seems good. I was using coral pro but was never super impressed with it.
obrien.david.j
I have no experience with this salt. I'm a Red Sea, blue bucket user.
Zach0225
Quick update. i mixed a small batch last night and directions say 36g per liter but i found that ~40g per liter gave me the results of 35ppt that I shoot for. one thing i can say is this stuff mixed super fast and I didn’t have to sit there and stir from salt settling at the bottom. I added to tank and will wait and see whether or not the inhabitants like the mix or not.
shaywood
There must be a lot of markup in salt. Seems like everyone is making it now.

I believe it’s been around for almost 10 years now but doesn’t seem to have as big of following as the others.
Zach0225
Mixed another batch today, this time the salt has an awful smell. Needless to say I will be attempting an Amazon return and will stick with the trusted redsea blue bucket
