don_chuwish
I'm really considering getting one during the current Amazon sale but was also reminded that Christmas is coming... Also just don't know much about the selection yet so I don't know which ones are good candidates.
islandVib3s
The ender3 V3 is pretty solid and easy to use. Has a slicer also for editing. I'm also new to it. But I should've purchased it earlier after all the stuff I purchased that was 3d printed lol
BeardUp
There are a few of us with printers if you have specific questions. The enders are the budget entry printer. They work great but can take some tinkering. Bamboo labs supposedly makes amazing printers but there is some proprietary stuff with them. However, they have all the upgrades you will do to an ender, and they come assembled out of the box and ready to print.
Kerbash
Yeah I have plenty of .stl files too. If you ever need type of stl related to aquariums i probably got it. Frag plugs to light fixture adapter to overflow and plumbing.

Has the sprite fill also. The only problem I found was settings when switching filaments but I think I'm dialed in. The v3 pretty much has all the upgrades besides the bed print removable deck. islandVib3s
Anyone have a app or how to scan stuff to stl file? I've also wanted to make a par meter hanger for the club rental handheld.
Colbymac92
There are tons of apps! I’d look into reality capture, Kiri, widar, polycam, unreal etc…
Krux
I have an E3v2 and love it. Upgraded it with the sprite direct drive hot end, dual axis, and the sonic control board so it is basically a V3. I also recently got the Elegoo 12k ultra, but I wouldn't put anything resin in my tank so it is more for boardgames and what not. Cool score on the V3, 3D printing is a great hobby that is adjacent to so many other activities. Edited October 23, 2023 by Krux
