Both sides have lights that work great. Comes with extra screen so you can cut it to preferred size and a black waterproof cover to keep the light contained. I also have a pump with clear tubing that fits it that I was using with it, or you can attach it directly to your plumbing. I also have a free timer I can toss in with it if you want so you can just set the timer for when you want it to come on and shut itself off.
