Gyre xf230 with ice cap interface

Recommended Posts

FYI: The Apex can control both the pump speed and direction.  This setup originally came from my old tank where I had it run forward at 80% for 30 seconds, then 80% in reverse for 10 seconds in a repeating schedule during the day, then switch to 50% forward for 30 seconds and 50% reverse for 10 seconds at night.  I can provide sample Apex programming for anyone interested.

This setup requires an Apex with an available 0-10v variable speed port.  This means if you have the Apex-EL, it does not include any 0-10v ports, so that would require the separate VDM module.  But if you have the Apex Classic or the full Apex 2016 model, those include the 0-10v ports.
