Randy-S
I did not realize the price of those skimmers!!! even with out the pump they are over 1' date='000.00 bucks...that might be a bit overkill for his tank...I would really consider a bubble master...[/quote'] The reeflo 200 is 895 in the link he posted were are you getting your numbers? Premium aquatics is the main importer of the skimmer and they dont even offer the skimmer without the pump. The BM 250 is about 750-800 depending on were you shop. the one huge difference between the two skimmers is one is in sump only and one is external only. Randy-S
I bought the first Reef flow 250 that was avalible' date=' and still havent got my tank up and running to post a review on it yet. But I must say, with all the feedback on this skimmer, I wouldn't pass this one up. IT'S A BEAST !!!!![/quote'] I have had mine running for a couple of months now and it still blows me away the amount of skimmate it pulls out of my tank. Every three days the cup is full of nasty and I mean nasty nog.

I could only find the is the 250, Thanks for clearing up the price issue (i did not look to hard (laugh) ), even if you went for a bigger one, and wanted it on a 500 gal tank, it would be a steel over a deltec or similiar... Your right, I think that if the room is ample the reeflo is the way to go...if you do not have much room, I think the BM is the way to go... Randy-S
There are only two models out right now and one uses the dart and one the snapper pumps. Both pumps can only be run externally.

Nyles
Randy, thanks for posting info on that skimmer, have you used Becketts MRC-3 skimmers? and if so how would you compair these two models IF you have used both? Thanks in advance man!
Randy-S
I had a PM xl2 just like the one Travis runs on his cube. I was never impressed with mine and feel it was not keeping up with the demands of my tank. The reeflo pulls at least 5x the skimate then the pm did. uses less power and is quieter. If you ever want to see it in person just let me know.
