I’ve been using loose catalytic carbon and pentek chlorplus as 2nd and 3rd stage forever and very happy with it. But BRS doesn’t appear to be selling the loose catalytic carbon any longer. I tried their recommended replacement carbon blocks and they sucked (clogged within months and tds creeped unbelievably fast).
