air561
I had a fellow reefer tell me about this forum back in 2009, but I was just getting ready to sell my 46gal bowfront system. About a year ago I purchased a used 65gal that had everything I needed, but was set up badly. It took me 3 months of weekly water changes just to get the Nitrates/Phosphates down. I almost died of paly toxin poisoning, but I finally got the everything working and cleaned up. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

milesmiles902
Nice tank! Sorry to hear you got injured by Palytoxin. It just doesn't sound fun. What happened?
air561
I tried to scrape a lot of paly's off of a rock to save a mushroom nice mushroom, then put the rock back into the tank. Tank crash, and I've never been colder, followed by cramps and asthma for a few days.Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

We don't always appreciate the natural defenses some of our tank creatures have until something like that happens. Looking good now! Welcome! Sasquatch
I see the lack of Palys there.. yea those look like some real toxic ones there. I've had the tightening in the chest and asthma before. But we both survived and are still in the hobby, just with less polyps

air561
Even though you should never have been in a 70gal tank, you were everybody's favorite. I wish I had taken you out sooner and given you a fighting chance at Wetpets. RIP Dori Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
air561
Finallt got the LED setup and I love it. Thank you KenH. They work great. As always, my crappy Samsung doesn't do it justice. Anyone have any tips for getting a 3" antenata lionfish eating frozen jumbo mysis?Still trying to identify the orange/blue dot coral in the top right.Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
