defigart
I got this Blue Clove today, and tonight I was sitting in front of my tank, and saw a little "antenna" come out of a small black hole and poke around the hole, and then dissapear back into it. The little hole is near the center of the "spot" in the photo. Any ideas as to what it could be?
dsoz
If you are wary of the antena, use some superglue to seal up that hole. Is the bare patch right around the hole? It could be eating the corals and living in that hole. The critter may have another exit, but you can keep it from coming out that one. dsoz
siskiou
What does the antenna look like? It could be a harmless filter feeder of some sort...

Everytime I see the "antenna" it reminds me of the proboscis of a butterfly.

siskiou
It's a filter feeding crab from the sound of it. Harmless! I can't think of the name of them right now...
defigart
If its a crab, then the thing is TINY. The hole is only perhaps a millimeter across at the most.
ThePremiumAquarium
Filter feeding crabs are very small. I had some in a nice x-mas tree rock. They look cool and add another harmless critter to the invert list. Nice blue cloves by the way!! I really am likeing those. Garrett
