Tank upgrade question

Debating on upgrading my drilled biocube 29 to a red sea reefer 170. Not much of an upgrade size wise... But it will be much quieter and it fits my space.

My question is... Once set up... Do I need to wait to transfer all my live stock? Or can I just transfer water and rocks and call it good... I'll be buying new sand.

I have several thousand dollars in high end corals I don't want to loose... That's my biggest concern.

Won't be an issue at all

Put everything into a holding tub, save all the water, try to keep the live rock wet and move the old tank and place the new one. I'd use new live sand as to dry sand to help avoid a mini cycle. Place all the rock, then sand, add water and corals and things will be fine.

Nice upgrade!
