Zmcclinton63
So my question is after people introduce there new arrivals how long do you wait to feed the tank for the first time? Do you try right after? Wait a few hours? Or wait a day or so? I can't seem to find anything about this on the Internet so I figured I would get other people's feeding habits on newly introduced fish! spilo
Usually wait awhile... unless there is aggression... sometimes I'll try dropping food in to distract them lol

Bicyclebill
I'll feed tank just before putting new fish in, but that's based on already having existing fish in the tank. If you're trying to figure out when to feed your very first fish in the tank, I'd probably wait at least overnight.

PeteRock
I feed the tank to get the locals fat and happy. Then introduce the new ones. Lights off, next day feed as normal. That butterfly may be finicky to get eating
Yourmedic
I feed the tank while the newbie is going through the drip. Once added to the tank, no feeding until the next evening.
