bamburgb
So I have had my aquarium up for a few years and never had to dose I always thought it was just for SPS corals and never really had many of them. So will Dosing help LPS corals grow as well? never really had to dose all my levels were usually right around where they should be, Alk 8-9, calcium 400. Do people recommend dosing for LPS? Blue Z Reef
Dosing is for keeping your levels stable. If they aren't moving or you are keeping them up with water changes you don't need to dose. You may try dosing aminos or feeding (corals) more to help your LPS grow faster as long as your filtration can keep up with the extra nutrient input. Saltwater newbie
If your methods are working I wouldn't change them.
