eclipse522
I am so excited, I bought my first fish two weeks ago from my lfs. It is a red firefish. A week later (last Friday), I bought a McCosker's Flasher Wrasse. I am still excited. I had to restart the quarantine for the firefish. Both fishes are doing well and eating like underwater pigs. They both have beautiful colors. At the moment, they are hanging out in the quarantine tank. One day in the far future, they will be moved to the main tank.

badxgillen
So true what has been said about QT. SO both of those are beautiful reef safe fish, are you going to run a reef tank? Edited February 4, 2015 by badxgillen
eclipse522
I have done a lot of research on starting a saltwater aquarium, including reading a lot of forums. It took me forever to get a good fish list and a somewhat solid care plan. I have learned from other people's mistakes and successes. Hopefully, the mistakes I may make won't be catastrophic. This tank will be a reef tank in the end. No idea on what corals yet but i will start with soft corals. I need to gather the funds for the light. After a few monthes of self debating, I have decided that my goal will be to get a reef star. Right now, the lights I have are only good for fish only. badxgillen
Just give the word when you are ready for corals and I am sure I can have something to throw you're way. Taking it slow is much betterthan ggoing to fast, just the patience and research will prevent the majority of your big mistakes.
