PowderBlue
So I decided to get rid of the "rock wall" as best I could. I have an eel so I needed to retain a bit of hiding places for him. I pulled about 20 pounds of rock from my display and relocated it in my sump. Luckily I have a pretty large sump, so technically I didn't loose any beneficial rock! I am in no way good at doing this, rarely happy with the outcome but I like this setup the best out of any I've done. I have mainly "chunky" pieces of Rock, which makes its hard to accomplish the "islands" look but here it is! Before After. Water is still kind of clouded, corals are a little mad, but everything is placed where I want it. Doing a 30 gallon change here once my little helper going to sleep! PowderBlue
much better you could even go vertical some more if you liked Thank you! I thought about that also, I may tweak it a bit more. I'm trying to have as much flow as possible before I get an mp10 this seems to have helped tremendously already!
PowderBlue
Anyone know if I can just "cut" pieces of the gsp off to kind of clean up the piece of rock. Wife won't let me get rid of it. I don't want it to die just cut it back.

Toby Flenderson
Some gsp you can take somthing sharp like a fragging scalpel and get under it. Then keep working it and peel it off like turf. Then wait 15 minutes and it will grow back.

I like it much more this way too. The rock wall was just cluttered. This helps so much with water flow also.
