mattv
I have had this mr7 sitting around for awhile and decided it was time to do something with it. The last thing I wanted to add to my electrical system was a hammerhead pump to run the becketts so............................... Here we go! Replacing the becketts with a bubble blaster 5000 pump and gravity feeding the skimmer. Bubble blaster gets fitted tomorrow! Any suggestions? before now check out this badboy

kriz2fer
Matt your gonna love that pump. I have a water blaster 5000 as my return pump and it is dead silent. I also have used 3 different bubble blasters and they are amazing pumps.

I just setup a commercial skimmer thats about 5' tall and 12"wide with one 5000 and it was amazing how much volume it puts out! It should rock this mrc! Arminius
Have you been able to dial it in so you get a thick skimmate? I know with the bubble blaster I owned it took me quite a few tries to bring it back from skimming over-wet.
