Vis
My frogspawn is a bit big for my Solana. I've never fragged before and would appreciate advice on how to do so and input regarding a fair price for the frags. Thanks
Burningbaal
I've seen people just break off a couple heads at the place a branch splits. of course it'd be nicer to use a dremel or other type of saw to make a clean cut. a little reef dip or iodine dip to help them start the healing process helps (or so I hear). Not sure on price, but I would guess $5-10 per head depending on size of heads, $30 for a mini-colony? I'm totally guessing on the price. I just bought a 3-head from TPA, but not sure how retail compares to hobbyist prices for these
Hewey McLovit
Mine gets fragged by me accidentally hitting it while i clean and just breaks off. It has never stressed it out and they grow like a weed in my tank. I can even break off a small baby < one inch and put it on a plug and it grows. Emerald525
Yes they are pretty easy to frag. You can just break them off. I also agree I have seen the price go for 5 to 10 dollars a head. I have seen whole colonies go cheaper though.
