Gilliroo
We are planning on setting up our solana again, and are thinking about lighting options. This will be fish only, or fish + zoas and other low light corals. Since the tank will be in a very visible spot, I'd like the fixture to be attractive. We are open to HQI, T5s, or LEDs. What fixture would you pick for a 34g cube? Does anyone still have the old Solana disco balls? Those were kind of interesting looking. What else is out there? Another option would be to do a DIY led fixture and camouflage it somehow. Seen anything creative lately? Thanks for the ideas! Emerald525
Gillian, Why don't you just stick with the sunpower you had over it? Sent from my BlackBerry 9630 using Tapatalk
Gilliroo
Sold it when we took the tank down. :(
ZachS
They have some pretty cool fixtures that hang off the back of the tank or stand
matty
I would think any pendent would work well over that tank. I had the disco ball when I had mine and the 150 worked ok but in hindsight I would have preferred a 250w. You could also do one of the par38/56 led bulbs over it. Burningbaal
From experience reefstars par56 look AWESOME!!!! +1, Jeramy has two above his tank (similar size to yours) and it looks quite nice, hit him up for the plans. he just added the second, I think a single would be fine for your plans
