Chief
Well we had a great time at the Hatfield Marine Science Center and the Oregon Coast Aquarium. 42 of us crazy reefers, their family members and friends showed up to take the tours. Both tours were very informative and show us just how much work and equipment it takes to run these facilities. More information will follow on the tours. There are a bunch of pictures that we will share and we are going to be discussing how we can help out the Hatfield Marine Science Center in the future. I just want to personally thank Steve, Dennis, and Dr. Tim Miller-Morgan for taking the time to give us the tour of the HMSC. I would also like to thank the staff and volunteers at the OCA for putting up with our rowdy bunch. They took a difficult situation and did a great job. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. And a huge thank you to Bob and Brandy for hosting the Clam/Oyster bake after the tours. The food was great, the oysters were huge, and the company couldn't have been better. To everyone that missed it... you definitely missed some good eats. I can't wait for next year. Jay
