Mohaynow
I need some interceptor. I have tried every vet in town and only a few of them cary it and none will sell it to me without a perscription, since I don't have a dog I am s.o.l. If anyone has a tab or two lying around that they wouldn't mind selling or trading for some frags (after the redbugs are gone of corse) shoot me a pm please. Thanks for looking! Mohaynow
Anyone have a spare tab or two? It'd be greatly appreciated!
markvo
You can buy it online. It is called PraziPro.
Mohaynow
Prazi pro is more for worms from what I've read at least. I would prefer to do the interceptor regiment.

Mohaynow
sorry if I came off being harsh, it was not my intent. You should of heard me agree with Mr. S earlier, you might of thought I hated the guy lol. Thank you very much for the tip tho, the reading I did do on Prazipro was very helpfull and now I know where to turn in the case of acro eating flatworms. Thanks again. Emerald525
Have you tried 1-800-Pet-Meds? http://www.1800petmeds.com/productw.jsp;jsessionid=+2oBt81-zjw2jKTLJSobkg**.worker2?_DARGS=/product_base_radio.jsp
racefan
In the latest issue of Reef Hobbyist magazine there's an article about "practicing safe reef keeping" and in it, the writer said he took a picture of his tank to a Vet to show why he needed Interceptor & they stapled it to his file. Worth a shot? http://www.reefhobbyistmagazine.com/archives/vol_5/issue19/pages/6.htm (page 8)
Mohaynow
Kim, thanks for the link on 1800petmeds but they do require a perscription. Racefan, I will have to give that a shot. Hopefully the vet visit isn't too expensive. Thanks for the tip
k9flash
Hey Mohaynow came across this interesting option if you cant get Interceptor from the vet. May be a good read and help you out a bit. Its not a whole tank treatment but if you are looking to dip corals it may be just the thing. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1965880
reefnjunkie
Man Josh I would have thought someone could have hooked you up-I wish I could find mine but as I said things are in a bit "disarray". Call Saltwater Fanta Seas Patrick had always been able to get it. 503-255-1645

7Max-GTE
Careful with PraziPro - it is really expensive and foams up like CRAZY. I believe it also can coat gills if used in conjunction with other coagulants (like melafix). I used it on Koi runs with little surface movement and it still ended up foaming up the runs for hours.
