pnkrcklives
I am going to attempt to drive a 4 runner on it tonight just for fun. By my calculations it should be able to hold 8-10 tons no problem.

Gill
What kind of paint job is this thing gonna get??
pnkrcklives
It will just be painted black with etching paint(for corrosion resistance) nothing special since it is getting a wood skin. If it were going to be exposed and the extra cost in the budget I would have it powder coated.

racefan
Looking at the pic, I'm guessing it's 2"x4" box tubing? any idea what that sucker weighs? Nice work!
cklskypilot
great looking stand. the one thing I would do is gusset the corners.
pnkrcklives
Yes the material is 2"x4"x.125" I think it weighs roughly 3-4 hundred pounds. I should do gussests for the over kill factor. But with the weight spread with the 3/4'' plywood on top it should be fine. Its only holding a few tons of weight...
