siskiou Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 It's time for me to shop for new cartridges! Where do you all buy yours' and which ones should I get? I bought the RO/DI set-up used and don't really know what types of cartridges are in it now. It's from airwaterice.com, and has 4 vertical housings, and then the membrane in a horizontal one on top. The first one of the bottom stages has a white (now changing to orange) filter material, then there are two with a filter that looks like it has some screen type stuff on the outside (carbon?), and the last one looks like something that was once white, but is now almost totally discolored with just a couple of inches of white left at the bottom. I'd appreciate some advice as to what to get! Looking at the airwaterice website wasn't all that enlightening for me. There are so many different choices!
