siskiou Posted January 24, 2007 Share Posted January 24, 2007 The Maldives is where I first discovered scuba diving and the underwater world in the early 1980s! I went the cheap way, though. Just a palm hut with sand floor on an island in one of the outer atolls where they had to rebuild every year after the storms. Fish, rice, and coconut every day and lots of diving!
