Kimberlee
Pictures there is looks like a favia to me Thx, Want to make sure I'm caring for it properly. I'm still learning to me it looked like an acan, and I have a bad habit of forgetting things when I'm excited. I'm excited every time I get something new. I think I should start writing this stuff down

Kimberlee
Any care tips? Seems to be doing well, but who here doesn't strive for better
stylaster
same care as an acan or other lps, don't require strong light, likes to be fed mysis, brineshrimp, low to medium water flow
sharoleb
Hi Kimberlee - FWIW: when I was just beginning I perused liveaquaria.com quite a bit. You can learn care tips and requirements by looking up different corals. It helped me a lot when I was new. Also - another site I use to help keep track of what I have and when I put it in the tank is reefnook.com I wish I would have used it for my first tank, but do use it for my second and it helps because I can never remember when I got a new coral, equipment and so on. jgf86123
Acan's and Favia's do resemble each other, so it's ok to mix em up.
