ringwurm Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 I ordered a 100 pack and they came in the mail this weekend. I'll let you know how they work as soon as I clean out my frag tank. Quote
Michael7979 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Can you take a picture of just one - up close? And where did you get them from? Quote
ringwurm Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 According to the website they are "injection molded polycarbonate" aka some kind of plastic. The concept seems cool. I like the rubber band pegs which will make it easy to mount soft corals. I had a bunch of boston aqua farm plugs but they would fall apart after you re-used them too many times. Plastic plugs will last forever! main www http://www.coralcradle.com details http://www.coralcradle.com/cradles.htm Quote
reefgeek84 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 $25 for 100 Thank, I had trouble finding that...although I did not look to hard (whistle) Quote
reefboy Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 look like a good idea for hard corals but im not sure id want to mount softies to it . Quote
Michael7979 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Ask for some samples for the club.........have to see if we can get some, then you can try Jody! Quote
R-3 Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Looks like they will work nicely for all corals to me. I think they are more geared towads softies because of how you can use a rubber band or a tooth pick with them. Later Ryan Quote
Piero Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 Neato. A well thought-out idea no doubt and good for almost any application, but: 1: not a fan of plastic that ends up in the 'environment' 2: rather use nontoxic, natural materials that would biodegrade 2: too expensive just me. Quote
