superjohnny Posted January 5, 2007 Author Posted January 5, 2007 there's something growing out of its belly (laugh) joking! totally cute. Standard equipment when you're a day old nice congrats! how much was shipping on something like that for new years day? Shipping was free, but the lost tax benefit costs thousands We had our birth at a place called Alma. It's a birthing center near Old Wives Tales and that really awkward intersection @ Sandy & Burnside. That place was awesome. I can't recommend going with a birthing center over hospital enough. For those who thought having a reef was time consuming, this has it beat by 10,000% Quote
Ronjunior Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 I lucked out with Good Sam about 14 years ago. Had an understanding Dr. and staff, the atmosphere was very laid back for a hospital, not sure if it's the same. The best part of being lax is, they let me catch my son! I don't know if things have changed, but I had nursing experience at other hospitals while going to OHSU and they were nothing like it. It doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but it sure makes it much nicer in a comfortable environment! Glad you had a good one and the fun has just begun! It gets easier though in due time. OK, maybe after 18 years. Or 20. Quote
Nyles Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Oh c'mon I got 3 of those. After the first two, the third is nothing. Quote
