NoobtoSalt
So I've been trying for quite sometime this morning to catch this guy and he is being a pain.. I'm tempted just to give up and pay the difference from the trade I was given. Anyone have any great ideas to get him to "jump" into my net.... fishmanmike01
I have amazing sucess with this trap I made. It is easy to make, only down side is it requires a little babysitting. http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?t=17020
lewisriverfisherman
use two nets or you may have to get a fish trap. i hate catching fish !
NoobtoSalt
I've tried 2 nets, moving my rocks, feeding multiple times to come out and nothing seems to be working. I like the bottle idea but I think I'm going to give up today. I will regroup and start building the trap. Thanks you guys!
Emerald525
Good luck Noobo! I have had the most luck from a fish trap. I didn't make one. I just borrowed one from a LFS. We have also had some luck when the lights are out and the fish are sleeping.
madmike
i bought some size 20 (really really small) barbless fishing hooks recently and was able to catch all but my really small talbot damsels in my reef. Just starve him for a day or two and place a mysis on the hook and he will go for it. Easy and fun.
madmike
i had to buy the hooks in #100 count so I have a few extra if you need one, lol.
siskiou
I had to take out 90% of my rock plus corals to get out my scribbled Rabbit fish a while ago. Tried everything else before, but just couldn't move the nets freely with all the corals in the way, and even though the fish was big, her still managed to hide among all the rock work. NoobtoSalt
I like all the ideas you guys. Thank you. for the time being He's still in the tank. Any ideas as to what LFS would be willing to loan me a trap? I can't starve the one fish as I would starve the whole tank and they would all go for the hook. I just got 2 new fish today and I need to make sure they have food in the tank for them as well.
Queen Angel
I wait til the middle of the night, get a very strong bright flashlight and shine it one the fish to blind him while I use a net to catch him. Works pretty good for bigger fish. The little ones I use the bottle method. Good luck.

NoobtoSalt
alright I was going to give up and just keep the fish in the tank but now it seems to be chasing my Trigger? I'm going to stop by a few shops today and see if I can borrow a trap but if anyone in town has one that I could use to get this fish let me know! Thanks
