R-3 Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I was looking at some info on a Aquapod and came across this. Looks pretty cool. Its a new skimmer that Current is making that had a needlewheel like impeller called a paddlewheel. Its a recirc too. Later Ryan http://www.current-usa.com/recircskimmer.html Quote
SeanF Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 You have way to much time on your hands. You always know about all the cool new gadgets before I do. Quote
R-3 Posted November 28, 2006 Author Posted November 28, 2006 (whistle) HA HA. I just like cruising every once in a while. LOL. Keep people informed. Dont be jealous Sean Later Ryan Quote
SeanF Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 That is ok you can find all of the new hardware and I will have all the fun unpacking new corals. There is nothing better than getting in a new load of corals. Quote
R-3 Posted November 28, 2006 Author Posted November 28, 2006 That is true. [language filter] you Sean. Later Ryan Quote
SeanF Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I mean that is why you open a store isn't so that instead of adding that one or two cool new pieces to your aquarium you can add 96.(clap) Quote
mister crabs Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 yes...but you know you are in trouble if you start trying to talk customers out of frag purchases because thier "your favorites".....lol Quote
WAVES Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 I saw this skimmer at a trade show in October, it looked pretty cheesey to me. I wouldnt spend much time looking into it IMO. Even the rep told me that without using the filter sock on the output, you'll have so many output bubbles you wont be able to control your anger. Quote
SeanF Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 That makes sense since pretty much everything Current makes is a piece of cheap junk. I guess that is the way of the world nowadays. Get something made as cheap as possible in China and then spend a bunch of money telling people how great it is. Quote
R-3 Posted November 30, 2006 Author Posted November 30, 2006 Ahh that sucks! It looked interesting. Air bubbles suck whale blubber Hope someone buys one though just so I can see it! Quote
