I also have live rock for $2 a pound, protein skimmers, and all sorts of other stuff. I can accept credit and debit cards. No worries. Yeah they are hard to come by and that is why I am pretty firm on the price. I don't really want to get rid of it but it has been sitting around in my garage so long and I don't know for sure when I will get around to setting it up. It will make a great tank for someone or me eventually.

Actually Oxx155 this tank is not the one you used to have. I bought it from someone up in Portland more than 2 years ago.

What you really have to look at is keeping your temperature up. I am assuming you don't have heat without power so your water temperature will be dropping and you will only make it drop faster by agitating the surface of the water so you don't want to do it too often. As the water temperature drops the ability of the water to hold oxygen increases so basically the farther your temperature falls the less you should mess with your tank. Oxygen is easy to add to the tank even without power heat is not.

Have you checked your magnesium levels?

Unless he has been very busy lately I would say that it is probably not open yet. When I was up the other day there wasn't any water in those tanks that he wants me to take off his hands lol.

If you want to avoid ich in a reef tank you have to start from day one. It requires an amount of effort that most are not willing to put out. First any invertebrate you put in the tank has to be kept in a fish free environment for a period of 30 days or more. The second thing you have to do is to quarantine all of the fish that go in the tank and it is best to use either hyposalinity, copper or both for at least 2 weeks if you are medicating the tank and no signs of ich pop up in that time. If you do this you will never get ich in your tank and therefore not have to worry. Once ich is present in the aquarium there is one way to kill it in a reef tank and that is to remove all the fish and keep it fish free for a month.

Funny I have never heard you say anything about your problems in Oklahoma until just now and that is probably why the subject never came up it is not like I just go around talking about bad experiences that someone other than myself have had at a game. The guy I know has no relatives in Alabama these were complete strangers that they met at a pregame press thing the day before the game although you think that I am lying. Maybe you should watch the news a little more because it was all over the news at the beginning of the season about the problems that they have been having with roudy fans and the steps that were being taken to try to keep these incidents under control this year. They also have had a lot of stuff on the news about fans cars being broken into while they were watching the games that probably would have been useful info huh. It was one of their supporters that were letting the players do things that they were not supposed to be doing and when someone told the University they were the ones that reported it to the NCAA, permenantly suspended the players took steps to self sanction themselves. Look I wish you well but you are just mad that there were some problems with your team this year that prevented them from doing better but come on you can't blame that on everyone else. So you are saying that the head coach doesn't make the decision about who starts at quarterback. Unless I am mistaken it is still ultimately his decision. As far as the bad behaviour on the part of the fans. I know when the guy I used to work for came up here his son got cursed at and got beer tossed on him. When they traveled to Alabama they met some fans of Alabama that had them over for dinner the night before the game. Oregon had to bring in more Police officers this year to try to control the fans here and they end up ejecting a bunch of fans every game. It has been all over the news here how beligerant the fans get. Obviously we are not going to agree on this but Oklahoma is a changed program over the past while Oregon is on their way under this head coach to being like Oklahoma was under Switzer.

I would say that Tank Raised fish would always be better to have in an ideal world but the problem is the cost of many of these fish and the limited availablity. If you are having poor success with tank raised fish it would probably be due to problems at the location you bought them from. Unfortunately many stores don't have seperate systems to deal with Tank Raised fish so they are exposed to parasites and other pathogens that they have not been exposed to before which can cause problems for them.

I am not critizing the players that were injured but when someone goes down the other players have to step up and that did not happen. I did watch the UCLA game and it was a horrible performance from a team that was vying for the national championship at one point in time. Dixon showed heart trying to take the field but Bellotti should not have let him make the attempt. They should have taken the week when they knew about the injury to get Leif ready to play the game and figuring out what they needed to tweak to make the offense run with him instead of Dixon and that obviously didn't happen. I am sure Dixon wanted his chance for the Heismann and another million dollars in the pocket but he may have cost himself a high place in the draft by not getting started on getting better from his injury. It is nice that you are passionate about your team but some realism would help also. They were a very good team this year but they weren't the best team in the nation at any point in time. You really need to travel to some games in the South and then you will understand passionate football. These people are true backers of their teams no matter what and treat other fans with respect. I find it funny because when I joined the air force the Ducks had just played in the first bowl game in I don't remember how long and they didn't get any support from around here. You didn't see anyone wearing team gear but now that they have played a couple of good seasons everyone is a fan. Well when they go back to losing more games than they win next year we will see who is a fan.

I am not denying that the team was good but they were definately not the best in the nation. Oregon will never be the best in the nation if they can't win a single bowl game. I am tired of all the crying about you guys getting screwed out of good bowl games but you can't win the games that you do get put in. As far as cheating maybe you should rewatch the Oklahoma/Oregon game last year. Yes if UCLA is able to pull out some miracles they could still win the Pac-10 but I seriously doubt that USC is going to roll over for them like Oregon. Yes there has been some injuries but teams have stepped up and still won games. Oregon has no depth. Next year all of these players that have had to play this year will be your team. You want to compare Oregon to other national powerhouse teams these other programs don't just have a good year now and then they are consistent year after year because they don't have one good player. If you don't want to admit that your team didn't have the heart to win a national championship that is fine but crying about what happened doesn't win games.

Yes it was that one. I thought it was very fitting of the officiating I have seen recently. The Ducks didn't need magic to win that last game. UCLA couldn't put points on the board. They needed to go back to some basics. Run the ball and throw short passes to any one that might be able to catch the ball. You can't expect to win games against good opponents with a 3rd string quarterback but UCLA doesn't qualify as a good opponent and they couldn't even put a point on the scoreboard. As far as being the best team in the nation at one point in time. That was definately argueable. They could have been the best in the nation if their defense would have played in the beginning of the year but having a one sided football team doesn't make you the best in the nation.

You have to have heart to win a national championship. Every team is going to run into problems through the season but they have to step up and play harder when something happens. Oregon hasn't done it. Oklahoma didn't do it when Bradford went out. Their defense didn't play good enough in the first half and let them score to many points and just didn't get it going until to late in the game. It cost them their national championship bid and well it should have. The national championship is for the team that wants it the worst. That Oklahoma Missouri game next week is going to be awesome. One problem Oregon had is that some of these easy games that they should have blown out their opponents in like the Washington game they let them score so much they didn't have a chance to play back up players to get them any experience. On a side note has anyone seen the new Subway commerical starring the Pac-10 official.

Yeah bellotti letting Dixon start with a torn ACL was BS. They set the whole offense up around Dixon and it is just funny watching these slow, slow quarterbacks trying to run the option. You guys must be tired of watching recievers get hit in the hands and drop the ball also. The one deep pass that was thrown right where it should have been the reciever gets hit in the hands and drops it. The only thing good I see that has happened since the beginning of the year is definately the Defense. They are playing 10 times better than at the start but it is too little too late.

Someone needs to tell the ducks that the season isn't quite over yet. The defense has finally started to play this late in the season when they couldn't stop anyone at the beginning of the year but you have to gain at least a few yards on offense to. At least the Oregon State fans have something to look forward to next week.

The biggest thing is going to be producing something that is cheap enough to have 3rd world and developing countries see it as a worth while venture. Otherwise there really will never be an impact on global pollution.

Solar Power is held back by the efficiency of the solar cells themselves. They are only about 14% efficient need to be about 50% efficient to be viable as a power source. There is some good research going on in this field right now that may have some big breakthroughs soon. The big thing is that we are just getting to a point where companies and researchers are starting to realize that the first big breakthrough in low impact energy could mean big bucks. It is the almighty dollar that drives innovation and change. If the costs of the energy that we are currently using wasn't so high there wouldn't be this research going on.

If the Pac-10 doesn't seriously do something about the horrible officials something is seriously wrong. When you have an open field tackle where the guys hand is only on the helmet and he gets whipped around there is no doubt their was a face mask penalty you could see it from the upper deck and get that call right. Then another blown call on almost an identical play as in the Oregon State Game. There is a serious problem that needs to be addressed otherwise the Pac-10 just looks like some high school league on the national stage. Winning national championships is all about heart and playing with adversity no team makes it without getting banged up along the way. When Dixon went out the Ducks gave up and despite Arizona not even playing in the second half of the game could not muster up the intestional fortitude to mount a comeback. I mean really Arizona was beating the heck out of Oregon when they were blitzing the quarterback and in the second half they just let him sit back there and have all the time and opportunity he needed to beat them. All I have to say is they better find a way to pull their heads out before the end of the season, quit whinning about injuries and play some football if they hope to even get to the rose bowl this year.
