huskerduck Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 The guy I work for owns multiple islands in Fiji and flys back and forth 3-4 times a year so basically the coral would take an 18 hour trip? You might need a an import license or what not, but from what I understand through a few people I've talked to, they aren't that expensive. stylaster Posted January 23, 2010 Share Posted January 23, 2010 You would have to get a cites permit and that's pretty tough to do. I went to fiji two years ago and saw a lot of awesome stuff. At the airports you will notice a lot of signs about not taking anything from the reefs. I wonder who is selling to them or how they get it[/quote'] When I used to be more involved, most of the rock flown into L.A. wholesalers came from Walt Smith. I am in Singapore right now and can get soccer ball size colonies of Frogspawn for about $20.00 Sing, ($16.00 US). Unfortunately, getting it home might be costly.
