jason7504
i have been trying to catch my other damsel for 5 days now and my other 2 dumb fish go into the bottle trap several times but my damsel doesn't go near it.just kinda investigates it..its driving me nuts! i'm about to go fishing for it lol but he might avoid that too (enforcer) so this might sound crazy but i was thinking that i could trap the other 2 dumb fish and borrow someones lionfish to just eat the bastard. do you think that would work? Rick
Mine wouldn't work. It hasn't ever chased any fish. Eventually it would probably eat it but it could take months before it did.

Arsonmfg
I'd say scratch the lionfish and go for a grouper... Probably make quicker work of it.
newfisher
How about eagle claw # 2 and some green power bait once the other fish are out. Put a bell on the end of your stick and he will call you when caught
stylaster
yup i would go with newfishers idea, bait and hook would work the best. just make sure you get the barbless hook
