ringwurm
I would like to learn how to work with acrylic so I am going to pick up some scrap at tap plastics. What kind of glue/adhesive do i need to get? And do they sell it there?
parabola
Tap Plastics is the perfect place to go Tap plastics is the superstore of plastics if u will. If your planning on a project were plastics or glass are your medium, taps is the place to shop. one thing i would recommend is a strip heater from there. they are extreamly easy to set up for bending plastic sheet to any specification u may desire. all in all IMO that place is the S**T. H20cooled
For glue get the thin stuff from them and also a container of the Welon 16. Try to get a piece of cast acrylic its a lot easier to work with then the extruded.

Chief
Yes you need a bottle of Weldon 4 and a needle applicator bottle. Also a tube of Weldon 16, which is a little easier to work with. Jay
