    MJmod holder?

this is one of the best How-to's I've found on magnetic mounts http://www.cawanee.com/magnetmounts/magnetmounts1.htm . Also search the any of the main marine and reef forums like Reefs.org and http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/
  2. How big is your sump? is it in your stand? any kind of fluorescent with an color temp around 6500k will do the job. you'll just have look out for increases in temp when running most lights. For that same reason i have to run LEDs on the back glass of my NanoCube 24g. 'm going to be around the house the rest of the evening so Go ahead and give me a call. matt 503-516-5692
  3. this is no longer available, thanks any-who
  4. The amount of cheato available near the size of a softball. It is perfectly healthy and is outgrowing my refugium so, its either going to someone or in the trash. please feel free to contact me through PM or by phone. thanks, Matt 503-516-5692
  5. phillip, no problem, it's the least i can do concidering i got my first ball for free from Aquaticus. they sell it by the pound and all i needed was enuf to fill half of my 24gal back chamber.
  6. i'm still pretty new to the hobby and although i know LFS do accept trade-ins, i'm unsure what the limitations. i'f your needing snails or hermits last i knew Aquatius in beav have a cannedfood drive going where 2x cans will get you a free snail and 3x will get you a hermit. they were a life saver when it can time to add cleaners, i saved a great deal of $$.
  7. LOL, i dont meen to step on toes but, i'm sure anyone aware of current gas prices would rather pickup a basketball sized than a softball sized. on the other hand not many people can really benifit from any one amount, it all depends on the setup and amount of water contained by it. in my case all i have is a 24gal w/ a mini fuge in one of the back chambers, so i would not be able to utilize anthing above a small amount.
  8. algae has been claimed and is now unavailable. thanks for your time and concideration. thanks for your time, matt
  9. i hear you there, when i recieve my tax return an ro/di unit is at the top of my list. when ever something is assumed to be, it will almost certainly lead to problems. wile i'm still new to the hobby and from what i've invested, i've found myself struggling to afford what i need for sucess becuase i cant afford loose what i'm maintainig so far.
  10. hi, sorry, i'm located in the beaverton/hillsboro area. 2.50 for 5 gal! where at in portland? since i'm straped for cash, i find it frustrating when the savings or quality available at shops can be out weighed with gas prices. thanks for your help, david
  11. hi, with persistant algae blooms i'm regreting not buying a ro/di filter. currently i cannot afford my own and have resorted to ro/di from the despensors at local grocers. i tested it intitaly but used a SW tst kit before mixing the sample with salt, so my negitive reading was wrong. now i've realized the water i've been using shows an avg. 0.5-1.0 of p04. concidering my finacial status, are there any local sorces that are reliable and cheap? i was spending 1.75 for 5gal at the water despensers. as far as i know the surounding fish stores sell water for $1 a gal, but provide consitant quality. are there any local vendors that posess bot saving w/ the same quality? thanks for your time and concideration, david
  12. Tap Plastics is the perfect place to go Tap plastics is the superstore of plastics if u will. If your planning on a project were plastics or glass are your medium, taps is the place to shop. one thing i would recommend is a strip heater from there. they are extreamly easy to set up for bending plastic sheet to any specification u may desire. all in all IMO that place is the S**T.
