jason7504
thats what im leaning towards too..just curious, why aren't you a coralife fan?
Benny503
If you use Sunpod with 20K then you are making up a lot of color for actinic :-)
jason7504
yeah i know, i like blue but i dont know if i want that much blue lol
kilmca
I like the 150w MH with PC's because I would prefer to do a lighting scheme that would allow me to simulate dusk and dawn with the PCs and mid day sun with the MH. I have 220w of actinic VHO's that come on for the first 30 minutes followed by 220w of 10k VHO's for the next 1.5 hrs. all the VHO's go off when the MH come on and vice versa at night. That's just my personal preference. Since you will be using the 14k phoenix you won't necessarily need actinic supplementation unless you want more blue and it doesn't sound like you do. CA2OR
I have a coralife...and I have had wonderful results. I don't know if there are better, I am sure there are but that is my experience.

jason7504
ok well i found a used 24" outer orbit pro MH/T5 fixture that im getting and it has a 10k ushio bulb with 4 ATI pro blue bulbs, does that sound like a good light combo? or should i add a phoenix 14k MH with the actincs? would that be too blue? markdadof2
I really don't like ushio bulbs - I run a 14k Ushio on my nano and it is YELLOW - but with those actinics it may balance out nicely.
