gradth
http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?c=720&pCatId=391 Anyone have any experience with these tangs? I have only ever seen them online. Every book I have says there a very hearty tang and fairly easy to take care of. Live aquaria though says they dont get along with other tangs all though they say that about all tangs it seems. I only have a Hippo in my tank currently. Have a kole in QT that will go back into display in a few weeks. Anyone have one? Would like to see some pictures and some feedback. Really like this fish and considering my first online purchase of fish(scary)
snowpunk
Very similar markings to a powder blue which can be hit or miss on hardyness. I don't know if that means anything at all though. Very pretty fish either way though.
Lowman
I had one for over 2 years. I think it is still alive here in town. They are ich magnets like other tangs of that species. They seem to fight it off better than their powder brown and powder blue cousins.

gradth
Are they any more ich magnets than hippos? Thanks for the info by the way. Kinda slowed down on the fishy's a bit. Want to make sure I research all I can on my next one.
siskiou
They look very similar to the powder browns. I actually got wrong info, thinking mine was a whitecheek, but looking at their pics, I have a powder brown. It's been doing great in my tank for over a year now. It's the terror of the tank, though, and nips soft corals, too (GSP, zoas etc.).
RoseCityAquarium
I have One here at the shop. I've had them in with naso, blue tang , he did not like the scopus tomini or powder brown. They eat all day.
