siskiou
I'm desperately trying to get the nozzles off two loclines that came with the megaflow overflow kits, so I can attach penductors. I'm not getting anywhere, though. Is there a trick to dealing with locline, or do I have to glue the penductors to the nozzles? I was planning on ordering a couple of Loc-Line 3/4" NPT Connectors to screw on the penductors.
reefgeek84
No, trick just muscle...pull and push really hard and they will come loose eventually.
siskiou
Hm, okay. I'll try a bit more. Maybe my husband will have more luck.
Twitterbait
there are locline pliers that make it much easier.
CCR
use a rag to hold it,if taking off, you have to bend it at the joint, reay hard, to get it to pop off. Yes it is hard to do, with out the tool. if putting together, a lite spit helps, again at an angle.
reefgeek84
Joel, as the tool at his place and when I bought loc-line from him, the tool did not help him at all, he ended up just using his hands, I would not spend the money on the tool. Nyles
Or stick a fat screwdriver inside and turn to pop it off the line if its in a tough spot. Getting them back on though.. well thats another story.
NeilsReef
For putting the Loc-Line together I would say the tool (Loc-Line pliers) has some value. For taking the lovely stuff apart I have normally used a little bit of muscle.
siskiou
My husband wrestled it into submission this morning! Thanks for the screwdriver hint! That really helped!
