defigart
These are FRESHWATER FISH I have for sale some Pseudotropheus saulosi. These fish are F1, that is to say they parents are wild caught. They are a freshwater fish, in the Cichlid family (Cichlidae). I am asking $4 each or 6/$20. Will consider trades for things for my reef tank. Around 50 are currently available. Picture below is of their parents, (taken by a friend of mine). Blue fish is male, orange is female. These fish will show these colors in a couple of months, at this point they all have the female coloration. If you are interested or have questions please let me know. siskiou
How aggressive are they? My daughter has a planted FW tank and was going to add a pair of Rams at some point. She has Cardinals and Rasboras so far.
defigart
They are very aggresive, and Mbuna (cichlids like these) love to eat plants. In fact plants and algae are their primary source of food in the wild.
siskiou
Gotcha! Not the right type of fish for her tank!
chewie
[language filter], I miss my old FW days. I may have to set up another tank. I used to breed Alonacara, Labs, and Tropheus. I must be crazy to think about setting up a Cichlid tank, which is to blame for me HAVING to buy a big tank for growouts. Of course I have no regrets. Doran, Got any pics of the fry? defigart
Baby pic added above. Again, sorry my digital photography skills leave much to be desired. Chewie, These would go great in a 40B that is on sell at PetCo. (whistle)
