Thank you for mentioning this!! I had no idea resin could be reused!
I'll have to give that a try once my TDS starts going up!I believe the cation and anion resins have to be separate to be able to recharge them. One with lye, the other with hydrochloric acid. But @pdxmonkeyboy can chime in of I have that wrong.

For anyone interested in renting the PAR meter, we have no wait on the USB version.

It's fine for a bit. Especially if you burn through it slowly. I go through a whole canister per 100 gallon 😞
Yikes! Are you on Portland water? What causes that?

The rusty color is the spent resin.
Yep, that part I know, just seeing what people think in terms of replacing all the resin or it still has enough useful life left.

Please bump me out a few months. I’m thinking of getting a new light so I’ll rather wait till I have it. Thanks.
Sounds good, just add your name again when you’re ready.

Anyone have one they’d like to sell? My COR20 return just died. I pulled my saltwater mixing station pump to run the main tank, looking to get the same one to put back into the mixing station.
Thanks!
Edit: I ended up just buying another one online.

I'm using a similar valve with a wifi leak detector and smart switch. Best practice is not to auto refill in the event of failure. When I receive alert I manually turn on solenoid via wifi app.
I thought about one on my rodi setup like that, any chance the valve wouldn’t close when power to it shuts off?

I'll have to look it up when I get home. Was likely a vet in Beaverton. (Admittedly, I armed my wife with all the paperwork and sent her to get a prescription.)
Nice “delegation” 😂
