Yeah, its crazy. I'm not sure if it need a rock under it to attach and grow, or not.

Anyone have one of these? We have had one for about a year. It's started at 2" and the skeleton was same size. Now it's almost the size of a soccer ball, but the skeleton has not grown. It went from one mouth to, 5!
Anyone have this coral that can explain why the skeleton is not growing? It's getting too big for the tank, but no way to frag since the skeleton is so small.

I looked for them at night and used a baster to suck them out of the tank. Took a week

Welcome and just keep in this in mind. You will have ups and downs, meet jerks and kind people all along g the way. It's about enjoying the ride getting there, because it can be a long ride before you get where you want to be. Make the best of it you can, it definitely pays off in the end.

That was the first time I've seen this and omg! Best video ever about coral

OK. Thanks. Makes sense. I've just seen so many 10g bottom drilled. I just could never get it right.
-
They didn't shatter. They actually seemed to have been drilled well. Once I added the bulkhead and water it first leaked then cracked. Non have lasted more than three days.
Is it possible that the weight of the water could cause the bottom glass to crack?
-
So I've drilled several tanks in the past, but whenever I drill the bottom it develops a leak then cracks. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have had zero issues drilling sides and bottoms of various tanks IE 10, 20, 50 gallons.
Does anyone have advice or comments that could resolve the issues?

Pretty compact set up. Looks good. Dis you use uniseals on the lower spouts

Reefdudes held a Jake Adam's auction to help his kid and wife when he died. It was the only piece I could get my hands on.

Is that the only Jake Adam's coral you are looking for? I have a piece of his red branching montipora that I'm growing out.

Im.about to build one and notice there are two types. One with an external pump between the containers and.other put the pump inside the water container. Does anyone know if one way is better than the other, or is it just preference?

Look up “KFC Euphyllia dip” it’s a game changer for keeping euphyllia. Antibacterial dip that works against brown jelly, pinched polyps, tissue recession etc.. it solves a lot of the issues that come with imported Euphyllia.
Do you have good experiences with wall hammers?
-
Ok thanks!

Retract and brown jelly both. Seems to be random locations. Sometimes at the ends, sometimes in middle.

Has anyone been able to keep these or the octospawn walls longterm? Is there a secret to it, or a particular type that is easier? So far I'm only about 6 months before they start to die.

That really helps. Thanks!
