I had my Apex doing a few basic things:

1. Turning T5's on/off

2. Turning MH's on/off

3. Running my auto-fish-feeder

4. Couldn't get it to control heaters yet

The Main Brain is in my Dug-Out Sump room with a 8-Outlet Power Bar. The green pen points at a 30 ft Aqua-bus cable to a 2nd 8-Outlet Power Bar at the display tank.

Thanks Vance. That's a "more affordable copy". It has a electric motor that turns the paper which can go out due to condensation in the unit making the paper heavy. The E200 has No motor, rather uses a water wheel, no electricity at all. Much better constructed and has a 3 - 4 month supply of 20 - 300 micron paper. I travel a lot so no sock cleaning.

PS. This thing has NO motor. When the pad gets dirty the water flows to a turn wheel that turns it. Super simple.

Without any Filter socks or pads sometimes my water is not crystal clear. I have been following this trend for 5 years or so in the UK. Finally they have a model for salt water tanks. Usta be only for large ponds. They have no US reps. Seem weird to me. Anyway I have to have it shipped from the UK. Does anyone know the best way to do that? Has anyone used one of these. Royal Exclusiv is now building rolling fleece into their sumps but I like my "Do-it-yourself" sump.

Everything. Getting it to control my heater, Send me text if heat is too high etc. I can get the controls up on my Mac but not on my phone. I did get my Neptune Wav's to work. I love them.

I'm a Baby-Boomer. Never in a Million years will I figure this thing out. HELP!

Hum.....I'll try the baster........I will lock-em-up in my refugium if the nasty-5 don't behave.

PS. When I only had 2 they fought sometimes. They can be really mean to each other if there is just 2 and one is a little bigger than the other.  When I added 2 more to make 4 they all got along great.

Love the semilarvatus butterflyfish!.  I kept 4 for several years in a 240 gallon tank. 

VERY NICE!

Large Glass tanks with glass bottoms kinda give me the creeps. You gotta be dead level and have a good pad of some kind under it. Ever time I hear a "Creeek" I think the bottom is breaking.  I kinda like the idea of a PVC bottom with glass panels only vertical.

ANYONE HAVE A A-ROUND NATURE CUSTOMS TANK? IF SO WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT? 

P.S. Kinda weird name for a Aquarium builder.
