  1. I am in Battle Ground and will likely be around this weekend. The frags are small, maybe a couple of inches. They are leftovers from rearranging my corals yesterday. The birdsnest was getting stung by my torch so there are some dead spots. If you like frags though there should be plenty of live pieces you could use. The green tree is a couple of inches tall.

I also have a small fist size piece of rock with about six or eight orange and purple mushrooms that I would like to sell. How does $15 sound?

PM for text info and time to pickup.

  2. This was a great first meeting for me! I had a nice time and, although I am terrible with names, it was great to meet everyone! I am relatively new to reefing but picked up some good info from a few people.

Thank you to everyone who helped put this together and to all the vendors who contributed. As someone else already mentioned, the breakfast burritos were awesome. I never win anything so I was so surprised when they called my number for one of the Cuttlefish frag rack giveaways!

  3. I'm in Battle Ground and briefly lost power this morning. We had a couple of power surges though and it tripped the GFI on the tank circuit. I had to reset it and then all was fine. Not home now though so no idea if all is still good.

Doesn't look bad to me. It's not bleached, mouth isn't open, and it's inflated.

I agree. It looks similar to mine and it has been anchored on my rock for several weeks. Mine is on top of my rockwork though with good lighting and moderate flow. He did move and hide out of sight for a few days though initially.

Yeah but all the cool kids are on the party bus!

Not sure about all the "cool kids". I made it on and I am far from "cool" I think. At least that is what my son tells me!

Also, I was thinking that since April 15th (usually) is tax day there is no better way to recover from Uncle Sam vacuuming out my wallet than to spend some money on my tank!

My blenny is feeding on sinking wafers actually. The store I bought him from had him on them almost exclusively, so im hoping that thats enough.

May be I will try that if I ever get another lawnmower blenny. I just hate having finicky fish and seeing them starve. It makes you feel helpless.....and responsible. They are just filled with so much personality though!

  7. Good luck with the tank! I also love the corals you are going for. I hope your lawnmower blenny does O.K. My tank has no visible algae and I have had two if these starve to death that could not figure out how to eat a variety of frozen foods or pellets!
