  3. Has anyone heard of or used a revogi smart power strip? I just looked at one on line and wow! They look awesome!

It's a six port power strip that is WiFi and controllable thru their app on your smart phone. You can set timers for each outlet, monitor power consumption or simply turn power on our off from anywhere. Thinking of ordering two, just wondering if anyone has one and what you think about it? They cost $70 each.

  4. Oh and that hole, just clean it really good and use a square of acrylic and weld on four. It'll wick in underneath the square. If it does leak use the weld on 16.19ff9b83cfa13337986ffe3a48f9baa6.jpg

  5. I built my tank and sump out of acrylic. I used weld on 4 for all of it except one baffle in the sump was leaking and I used weld on 16 to seal that. Any woodworking flush cut bit will work and your table saw blade can be for wood as well but use a 60 tooth blade. Worked for me good luck!

  6. Got this four pack from Kevin at pets warehouse in Copiague NY. They've only been in the tank for a couple hours and look happy! Big frags too! 6cdbff916379c440f34d9db201391832.jpgbb39b234f21eb5fe49c3fa62d7323563.jpg8f1b3cb685bfae912bac9be2ca859564.jpg98fa977603645f66ba7c40c9f222546d.jpg

  7. I just got a 150 and when it works it seems like it can really move some water. Problem is that it is displaying a fault (red flashing in the center of the dial) from time to time. It is not consistent and when it does it, it cuts out. Not too impressed by that. One thing I noted was the manual says the larger 150 should ship with a 24V 4A power supply and the smaller 130 should ship with a 24V 3A power supply. Well, I have a 24V 3A power supply and a 150 so either the docs are wrong or the power supply is the wrong one. Any one else want to chime in with their experience with the Gyre? I got it from Amazon so I can return it in the next couple of weeks.

Oh and BTW I disassembled and re-assembled the impellers just to check everything was in-place. Some reports on the web say that the error could be caused by things moving during shipping, which unfortunately is not the case here...

Good catch on the amps. I have the 130 and never had a problem. My money's on the power supply.
