  1. It's up to you really. Bristle worms eat detritus. They have never bothered anything in my tank either and the sand is always cleanest by their dens. They're ugly, usually come out at night, and really only pose a threat to your finger if your moving rocks around. But even then it's just a poke lol. Still hurts though. I've seen posts of people asking for them! So do you need to get rid of it for the safety of your tank? No. If they give you the willies and you can't stand them then sure by a trap and get rid of it. Jmo, hope it helps.

  2. I live in Eugene and get it from multi craft plastics. Don't know where your at and I'm not sure if the big box stores like Lowes have it or not, but I'm sure you can find it locally. Watch a few YouTube videos before you do it. You only have a couple of seconds after you apply the solvent!

  3. I wouldn't use that stuff. Use this12df94905baebd8fea9de83468fd0ac9.jpgI built my 150gl with weld on 4. It literally melts or welds the plastic together permanently. I get mine at the place I buy the acrylic from.

  4. Sweet! Take a good look at your wallet, it's the last time you'll see money in it!lol I use the maxspec gyer 130 in my 150gl tank. Only have the one for now but I plan on getting another one after I get a controller. There's a bigger size, the 150 but I can't turn mine up all the way or it sucks sand off the bottom from 18 inches away. I love the gyer effect and will buy another. Haven't seen the one you're talking about so I'm not much help there. Good luck with your build!

  5. Thank you Jeff! It was my first visit to your shop and wow! What a selection! You were more than gracious, kicked in a freebie! But most importantly you gave a newbie like me your undivided attention, answered all my questions, and were a pleasure to talk to! I will see you whenever I'm in Portland, thanks again!
