Well came home to my tank about 1 deg more than I have ever had it. Went to the market and got some ice.  I guess its time to order the things i need for the chiller.....

Any stores carry locally? No rush just need some eventually. 

Bobby and Rhett are the owners. If you can get bobby to show you his office tank it’s pretty rediculous. My good friend is buddies with them and I have watched them grow from an idea. Pretty cool. 
They have a ton of really nice frog spawns and hammers etc there and they have a water system hooked up. 

Nice mature tank! I am literally setting one of these up right now! Just put in live sand and I’m adding saltwater right now. I’ve been leak testing it for the last week with freshwater. What equipment are you using? Skimmer, flow etc...

If anyone is interested, here's a video update of my 450.  This at 2 1/2 years old.  Many of you have purchased frags from the corals. Sorry about the poor quality.  I had to scale it down to upload. Video was taken during water change, with pumps off.

Hello all,
 
I have some seriously nobby rock, and I want to find something that will encrust over it.  I am thinking a super colorful lepto, a couple of cool encrusting montiporas, or a nice cyphastrea or two.  The pockets in this rock are around 1/2" deep, so it needs to be something that has some serious depth to it, or something that can grow across the spans in the rock.  I need to eventually cover an area the size of a football.
 
I guess the other option would be ensconcing it in ricordeas...
 
Any ideas from someone who has tried to deal with this super bump Fiji-esque rock?

So I was sitting on the bed dangling my feet thinking about my day...looked over at wife’s tank and Holy S word! The tank started bubbling and smoking.  Well I will never own. Colbalt Neo Heater again! Smells like hell!  
I’m sure glad I was home passing from living room to bed room! 

Does anyonelses growout ricordea look as bounce-ish as this one?
 

I had a big Hills have eyes chalice that had long sweepers but after about a year it started dying [emoji22]

I can’t tell for sure from you pics but do you have the unit on it’s side. When I bought mine they said it needs to be upright. I think if it’s placed upright for something like 24-48 hrs before using it then everything is golden
