Ya im agreeing with no PH in the tank, just one makes it look cluttered haha.  Did i sell you those B&W clowns? the freckle looks familiar on the bigger one haha.  

Dang, I'm thinking it's time to upgrade my return so I can take my PH out. I have a Túnez 9002 that barely won't fit in the back so I want to switch that out to. I'm trying to stay disciplined and do all my mechanical upgrades first haha.

Awesome thread! I'm also in to 20Nuvo club and always get inspired by seeing other nuvos! What are you feeding/dosing? Also which pump are you using as your main pump now? I've been thinking of an upgrade.

Update

 

Sorry its been awhile, holidays were crazy and for being gone for two weeks with someone just stopping by to make sure the tank didn't crash i came home to a little algae bloom and a xenia infestation.  Got the algae taken care of and i made a kalk paste, two days ago and squirted most of the xenia with it and its all almost gone.  Im going to do a water tonight and see if i can just siphon most of them out of if ill have to treat it again.  Some of my zoas have lost a bit of color but they hadn't gotten fed so I'm back up to the feedings and moving things along.  Hope to be adding some new corals/fish soon! 

Maybe someone wants a large colony? If you cant sell all that you need to, you could always donate some to tanks for teachers and maybe write that off on your taxes?

How do I find out more about it? Possibly be willing to do it all that way.

Looking for someone to come check on my tank twice during Thanksgiving week (between NOV 25-27th).  We will have someone watching our other fur babies and feeding the fish but i would like someone with some experience to come by check the ATO and make sure everything is running smoothly.  Hopefully if all goes well we can figure out something for christmas time as well where we'll be gone for 10 days and i would ask about a water change and such.  For thanksgiving week i would pay 20$ for the two visits.  No need for water change so it would be pretty simple.  Shoot me a PM or post here if you're interested and you're availability to maybe come over and check everything out.

I have a decent colony of xenia growing and they're starting to spread.  If i were to make half dollar size frags and sell two for 5$ how many would want one?  Don have a lot of frag room in the tank so ill see what the interest is then hopefully have some ready by the weekend.  Let me know!  Ill post pics if ppl are interested.  

I have about 5ish lbs of aragonite sand. Used what I needed for a 2.5gal. Looking for a trade of sorts. Thanks!

I had a bryopsis problem in my Nuvo too but I just slowly trimmed it out. As the tank matures it went away. My purple tang is an awesome bryopsis eater too. Too bad they are too big for a 20.

Every chance I get i pick some out and I haven't noticed any patches spreading. If anything I have a Xenia problem, they're growing like mad. I'm scared for my coral

Recently stocked the tank with a few more corals! Also am running into an algae problem of bryopsis pennata. It's small and not covering the tank, yet, but I read it's a little harder to get rid of because crabs and sea life won't completely destroy it but just trim the hedges if you will. But here's a good link I found with a list of common algae and solutions

I have a almost complete Túnez 9002 skimmer. The housing has some wear and it has all the components except for the elbow to connect the airline tubing to the pump to crest the micro bubbles. Pump works great. Asking 20$ which I feel is a fair price or asking a trade for a TLF 150 reactor with or without pump. let me know if you're interested!

Recently sold my B&W clowns and traded my chromis.  Also just got some more coral and a pigmy angelfish.  Im going to try and do some photography tonight with the tank.  I don't have a macro lens but might be able to get something decent with my 50mm 1.4 We shall see.
